As an original score composer for film the ultimate goal should always be to EMPOWER THE DIRECTOR, in order to help TELL THE STORY.
In order to achieve this Pere George always LISTENS FIRST, the primary objective should always be to understand the story, understand the filmmaker, and the project in order best serve its purpose.
After the first objective has been achieved the next step is to DEVELOP A LANGUAGE for the project, define timbres, textures, sounds, instruments, musicality and concept.
Once the story is mapped out and the language and pace have been defined, the next step is to PRODUCE THE MUSIC with the best and most effective means necessary, to hire the right team to EXECUTE THE VISION and carry the score to its final stage before the re-recording mix.
In the field of music and sound design for film & TV Pere George has worked as a composer, sound designer, additional music writer, arranger, programmer, assistant composer and contractor for projects like Mi Novia Es La Revolución (2023), Ni Tú Ni Yo (2018), El Espantapájaros (Pimienta Films, 2012), 'Til Jail Do Us Part (2023), working for and with composers like Juan Carlos Enríquez, Juan Cortés Arango, Juan Manuel Torreblanca, among many others.
