PERE GEORGE (Jorge A. Perelló Undreiner), is a multi-instrumentalist artist, composer, and producer born in Caracas (1989), raised in Cuernavaca and currently residing in Mexico City. His work process starts from an acute sense of questioning and understanding the needs, the art, the piece, the project; and then amassing and sharpening the necessary teams, tools and resources necessary to deliver outstanding work that characterizes him.
As a composer, arranger and music producer, he has collaborated with and worked for some of the greatest artists in Latin America, such as El David Aguilar, Natalia Lafourcade, Torreblanca, Leonel García (of Sin Bandera), Carla Morrison, Christopher Von Uckermann (RBD), Caloncho, Niña Dioz, Jenny & The Mexicats, among many others. In the international stage he has worked for producers Francesco Burali-Forti (Stan Walker, Evan Ross), and has participated in sessions for Sidney Swift (Beyoncé, Big Sean) and the legendary American producer Rodney Jerkins (Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, etc.).
For his work as producer of El David Aguilar's SIGUIENTE album, he received three nominations for the 2018 Latin Grammys, including the Album Of The Year, Record Of The Year, and Best Singer-songwriter Album categories.
As a solo artist his catalog has amassed well over 1,300,000 streams on Spotify alone, where he has a monthly listening audience of 7,000+ listeners. His songs have been licensed for TV shows like Marea Alta ("Si Se Acaba El Mundo" ft. Joaquina Mertz & DJ Diavlo), and videogames like the classic Tetris (with Niña Dioz).
In the field of music for film & TV he has worked as a composer, additional music writer, arranger, programmer, assistant composer and contractor for projects like Mi Novia Es La Revolución (2023), Ni Tú Ni Yo (2018), El Espantapájaros (Pimienta Films, 2012), 'Til Jail Do Us Part (2023), working for composers like Juan Carlos Enríquez, Juan Manuel Torreblanca, among many others.
In the field of original music & sound design for advertising he has scored commercials for brands like McDonald's, Coca-Cola, VISA, Bonafont, GlaxoSmithKline, Elektra, Totalplay, TiresPlus, and more.
As a film producer he produced the short film TIERRA, directed by Fana Adjani, in collaboration with Latin American superstars Bomba Estéreo, starring Li Saumet and Lukas Avendaño, which features the music of Simón Mejía, and the work of Oscar Winner re-recording mixer Carlos Cortés Navarrete. This film won the Programmer's Choice Award for Best Short Film at the Fairy Tales Queer Film Festival in Calgary, Canada. And was selected for film festivals like: 2023 Outfest Film Festival (Los Angeles), 2023 Outfest Fusion QTBIPOC Film Festival (Los Angeles), 2022 Seattle Queer Film Festival (Seattle), 2022 Guanajuato International Film Festival (México) and others.
